Many websites and apps use Google services to market and improve their content and keep it free. When they use these services, they or their partners share information with Google.

たとえば、広告サービス（AdSense、Google 広告など）や分析ツール（Google アナリティクスなど）を利用しているウェブサイトや、YouTube の動画コンテンツを埋め込んでいるウェブサイトを閲覧すると、お使いのウェブブラウザから Google に特定の情報が自動的に送信されます。このような情報には、アクセスしたページの URL やユーザーの IP アドレスなどがあります。また、ユーザーのおおよその位置を特定する、広告の効果を測定する、設定に応じて表示される広告の関連性を高めるなどの目的で、IP アドレスを使用することがあります。また、Google がお使いのブラウザに Cookie を設定したり、既存の Cookie を読み取ったりする場合もあります。さらに、Google の広告サービスを利用しているアプリは、アプリの名前や広告配信用の固有の識別子などの情報を Google と共有します。

Google uses the information shared by sites, apps and partners to deliver our services, maintain and improve them, develop new services, measure the effectiveness of advertising, protect against fraud and abuse, and depending on your settings, personalize content and ads you see on Google and on our partners’ sites and apps. Sometimes, when processing information shared with us by sites and apps, those sites and apps will ask for your consent before allowing Google to process your information. For example, a banner may appear on a site asking for consent for Google to process the information that site collects. When that happens, we will use your data for the purposes described in the consent you give to the site or app, rather than for all of the legal grounds described in the Google Privacy Policy. If you want to change or withdraw your consent, you should visit the site or app in question to do so.

広告のカスタマイズ

If ad personalization is off, Google will not collect or use your information to create an ad profile or personalize the ads Google shows to you. You will still see ads, but they may not be as useful. Ads may still be based on contextual factors, such as the topic of the website or app you're looking at, your active searches, information about the videos you’ve just been watching, or your general location. Your information can still be used for the other purposes mentioned above, such as to measure the effectiveness of advertising and protect against fraud and abuse.

Google のサービスを利用しているウェブサイトやアプリを利用したときに、Google などの広告配信会社からのパーソナライズされた広告の表示を希望するかどうかを選択するよう求められることがあります。ただし、その場合に希望すると選択した場合でも、お客様の広告カスタマイズの設定がオフになっている場合、またはお客様のアカウントがパーソナライズされた広告の配信対象外である場合は、パーソナライズされた広告は表示されません。

Here are some of the ways you can control the information that is shared by your device when you visit or interact with sites and apps that use Google services or share information with Google:

• If you are signed in to your Google Account, and depending on your Account settings, My Activity allows you to review and control data that is saved as history by your activity controls when you use Google services, which may include information we collect from the sites and apps you have visited. You can browse by date and by topic, and delete part or all of your saved activity.
